Web Developer

We are looking for a smart, experienced and awesome Web Developer to support one of our Rockstar clients!

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
• Build out web pages with supplied web copy, images, and Beaver Builder templates.
• Add in SEO optimization including supplied meta descriptions, page title tags and image alt tags using Yoast plugins.
• A keen eye for design to ensure all content flows with the design and looks great on desktop and mobile.
• Optimize images for speed for use on the website.
• Quality assurance checks including accuracy of content, SEO meta, links and images.
• Working with the development team to fix any found errors or quality issues.
• Work and coordinate with the team in Asana for a variety of on-going website edits
• Work safely on websites including properly backing up
• Quality control ensuring all changes work as they should on both desktop and mobile
• Communicating with the team when changes have been completed
• Build out all lessons using existing Beaver Builder templates, or creating new modules that most closely resemble the functionality used in Lessonly.
• Expertly move over text, images, and embedded videos into well formatted Lessons following our standards. Including the structure of each Lesson and their individual sections.
• Testing to ensure all videos work and everything looks good within the platform.
• Use and implement Beaver Builder modules, templates, and add-ons (Beaver Builder Power Pack)
• Optimize and manage images for website use including compressing for speed

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
• 1-3+ years of Web Development experience
• Solid experience using WordPress, Beaver Builder, and other page builders
• Understanding of various WordPress plugins including Yoast, Beaver Builder Power Pack, and others.
• Some experience in Photoshop (bonus points for some design skills!)
• Bonus - Some copywriting and SEO knowledge and experience
