Overview
Motivated, detail oriented, and organized, this half-time Administrative Assistant supports the Downtown Alliance’s mission of acting as a catalyst for a vibrant and thriving downtown. The position is responsible for providing administrative support and light accounts receivable bookkeeping for the organization. Administrative support includes light phone reception, scheduling meetings, working with organizational membership, assembling reports, and supporting the Executive Director and the Project Manager. Bookkeeping includes working with accounts receivable and communication with the Alliance’s contracted professional bookkeeper.

Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director. Responsibilities include:

• Light phone reception
• Digital file management
• Meeting scheduling for Executive Director, Board, and Committees
• Assembling and transmitting Board and Committee packets
• Managing membership database
• Generating reports
• Managing accounts receivable
• Prepping bank deposits
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Minimum two-years of work experience in an administrative
• Bookkeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Minimum education level completed is high school or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Quickbooks (preferred, not required)
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Balanced ability to take direction and take proactive initiative
