We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Accountant/CPA to join our dynamic tax team. This role provides the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the organization's financial success.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Virtual Accounting:
Maintain accurate financial reports using cloud-based accounting software.
Collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers virtually to ensure real-time updates and data accuracy using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Chat & Microsoft Office Platform including Excel for financial ad-hoc reporting.
Ability to use an import function to populate, classify transactions to chart of accounts, reconcile books to bank statements and be able to tell whether the information in the account is correct or not.
QuickBooks online experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

2. Remote CPA Functions:
Ensure compliance with federal and primary state of Arizona laws and regulations while working remotely.
Support the Preparation of filing tax returns, including corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, exempt organizations, and individual tax returns.
Ability to organize electronic workpapers to support tax positions, to reconcile books to tax income, input fixed asset additions, disposals, and retirements in a ProConnect tax software program highly preferred but not mandatory.
Intuit ProConnect tax software experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with professional tax software used in CPA firms is highly preferred but not mandatory.

3. Financial Reporting:
Ability to prepare a monthly balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flow for multiple clients.
Technical competence to be able to run reports, export the same reports to Microsoft
Excel and extrapolate numbers for ad hoc reporting.
Ability to quickly disseminate information, analyze account balances/financial reports and articulate the same to team leaders.
QuickBooks Online platform software experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

4. Communication:
Ability to articulate oneself to teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and team leaders effectively and
appropriately.
Ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate virtually with external auditors, tax professionals and regulatory agencies as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Must have proven experience as a virtual accountant and CPA.
-Must have Quickbooks experience
-Must have previous work experience with US companies
-Must have experience handling multiple companies
-Should know how to do financials
-Can process bank transactions
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
-Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, etc.) and virtual collaboration tools.
-Experience with ProConnect tax software program (highly preferred but not mandatory)
-CPA certification
-Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills.
