Video Editor (remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (!) Video Editor to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, bringing a minimum of five years of experience in video editing. This role involves mastering and implementing a specific editing style that will be central to all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project
- Learn and apply our specific editing style to various projects consistently and efficiently.
- Enhance video content for social media platforms with a focus on short-form, dynamic content that engages audiences.
- Collaborate closely with the content team to conceptualize and execute video ideas.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
- Take on initial training to learn our specific style of short-form content creation

Requirements:

- Proficient in - and has acces to - Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in dynamic short-form content, particularly for social media platforms.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection and a powerful desktop setup (Note: Laptops may not meet the performance requirements for this role).
- Excellent understanding of the post-production process.
- High level of english to understand context and fine details in interviews.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow a given style guide and adapt quickly to new creative directions.
