Video Editor and Social Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Video Editor and Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team at Sidekick. You will work closely with our creative team to bring scripts to life and create high-performing ads for Meta (mainly UGC style).

Key responsibilities:
1. Edit raw footage into engaging video ads for Meta
2. Monitor ad performance and apply learnings onto new iterations and briefs
3. Support the creative development process, including:
- Planning new ad concepts and iterations
- Sourcing creators
- Writing briefs and guiding the creators on the visual/storytelling direction
4. Be on the constant lookout for new formats, hooks, scripts, and angles for video ads

The ideal candidate will have:
1. 2-3 years of experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills
2. Experience with UGC-style ads
3. Experience with briefing content creators
4. Sourcing the right content creators to bring it all together with great video editing and iterations
5. Experience with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or CapCut
6. A strong eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging video content for social media
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
8. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You will need to be available on either Mountain or Eastern time zones for at least a few hours each day for meetings.

We will start with some small contract work to ensure we’re the right fit, before quickly moving on to full time. Full time rate will be $1600 USD/month.
