Video Editor / Visual Effects JD

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Hours: minimum 40 hours a week
-Shift: Graveyard between 9am to 6pm EST. Flexible work shifts can be negotiated based on circumstances.
-Work directly with the Head Of Social Media on a wide range of quick video edits for Instagram, TikTok, Youtube.
-Strive to meet project outcomes and deadlines
-Occasionally propose creative ideas and suggestions to projects especially if for efficiency purposes.
-Assignments include but are not limited to: video editing, color correction, transcribing audio, image recoloring, video -conversion and compression, graphics for titles or transitions, and interviews.

REQUIREMENTS:

-VERY IMPORTANT: Friendly and nice - you need to get along. If people don't like working with you, you can't do this job.
-Good spoken and written English
-Focused - You need to give this job your full attention. You won't be able to stay focused if you work other gigs.
-Resourceful - can find solutions yourself and use what is available to create answers
-Trendy- must be able to achieve creative results and effects that is trending at any Upgrade to see actual infont
-Technical - able to learn new tools without much effort

-Proficient in the following applications:
-Video Editing application of your choice such as Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve
-Knowledge in motion graphics a plus: After Effects for titles and other graphics.
-Adobe Creative Suite
