JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for a talented and motivated video editor with motion design skills who can help create engaging and entertaining videos specifically designed to go viral on YouTube and as short form on social media platforms shorts/TikTok/reels. The successful candidate will have excellent video editing skills, knowledge of the latest trends in social media content, and the ability to cut and collate footage quickly and creatively.

Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere is a must!

Responsibilities:
- Framing/Storyboarding; search for suitable stock video, audio and other elements to enhance the viewers experience.
-Edit and enhance video footage (including short-form videos like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok) with motion design (animation), creating interesting, fun, and visually appealing content with a focus on viewer engagement.
-Select appropriate audio elements such as music, sound effects, voice-overs etc.
-Keep up to date with the latest social media trends / tools / techniques.
-Ensure that all deliverables adhere to brand guidelines.
-Work closely with the manager and upload content on time across all platforms.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a professional Video Editor for at least 2 years in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in cutting & splicing video footage using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro & After Effects).
- Knowledge of color grading tools such as DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Lightroom is an advantage.
- A good eye for detail when it comes to editing pacing and aesthetics.
