What We Want You To Do:

Neon Cloud Productions Long Video Creation Role:

At Neon Cloud Productions, we specialize in creating dynamic "Long Videos" from footage compiled across approximately 15 diverse locations. Each video, typically lasting between 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, is meticulously edited to synchronize with a carefully selected soundtrack.

Here are some examples of our Final Product of the "Long Video". Keep in mind, that you are not responsible for creating the motion graphics to the following examples. You will just create the edit, add the pre-created graphics, and make the requested revisions: Upgrade to see actual info

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Integration: Seamlessly integrate footage to construct a compelling narrative that aligns with the music's beat. You'll follow specific guidelines but also have significant creative freedom.
Selective Inclusion: Effectively incorporate 10 predetermined, crucial shots into the video narrative.
Dynamic Editing: Choose and arrange additional footage to complement the core shots, ensuring the final video is engaging and coherent.

Additional Projects:

-Create social media content derived from the long video.
-Produce social media content for our company using client-derived content.
-Develop social media content featuring talking head videos, enhanced with minimal animations and supporting B-roll.
-Creating stock footage.

Job Scorecard:
Your performance will be measured against these Objective Key Results (OKRs):

-Manage ongoing projects to ensure timely completion.
-Maintain close communication with our team; be proactive in asking questions and solving problems independently.
-Utilize our project management system for task management, inquiries, and work submissions.
-Use our internal messaging system for team communications.
-Produce timely, on-point videos for various campaigns and communications.
-Translate video scripts and storylines into effective visual narratives.
-Design video thumbnails as needed.
-Maintain an organized digital archive of video files on Google Drive.
-Continuously update your skills with new editing techniques and industry best practices.
-Stay current with viral trends and incorporate this understanding into your work.
-Contribute to photo and video shoot planning using insights from social media research.


Ideal Candidate:

-Experienced in video editing with a robust portfolio.
-Proficient in Premiere Pro; a decent knowledge of After Effects and Google Drive is essential.
-Exceptional visual storytelling ability.
-Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
-A team player who is quick to incorporate feedback and produce high-quality content.
-Capable of working independently and eager for continuous learning and development.

Salary and Benefits:
Starting salary is USD $650 for the first three months, with a potential increase to USD $750 upon passing the probationary period.

Location: Remote from the Philippines

Working Hours: Flexible, but availability during some of our working hours is required for meetings and collaboration.

Our Interview Process:

-Complete the Neon Cloud Productions Trial Test to assess your editing skills, creativity, and communication. Details of the test include:
Editing a real client "Long Video."
-Creating accompanying social media content.
-Following detailed instructions while demonstrating creativity.
-Communicate effectively throughout the process.
-You will be compensated $100 for completing the test as long as it is up to par for the level of experience that is expected, regardless of the hiring outcome. In other words, don't send us crap.
-Top performers in the trial will be considered for employment. We may hire two or more candidates for this role.
