Video Editor

Responsibilities:

- Edit video footage into complete polished videos for YouTube and vertical social media content (minimum of 5 videos/week)
- Handle all aspects of post-production, including editing video footage, adding music/sound effects, color correction, and adding graphics and effects
- Download and upload large video files quickly and efficiently
- Work in collaboration with our content team to meet deadlines and create high-quality content
- Understand our brand's aesthetic and apply it to all videos created
- Ensure all editing cuts, effects, and changes are in line with the script and director's vision
- Address and implement feedback in a timely and positive manner
- Adhere to a to a weekly schedule and submit daily progress updates

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Proficient with traditional video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or similar
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or similar motion graphics software is a plus
- Strong portfolio of past video editing work, including YouTube and real estate content
- Solid internet connection for efficient file transfers
- High-performance computer capable of running video editing software smoothly
- Strong attention to detail, creative mindset, and good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday
- Ability to work independently and part of a remote team
