Video Editor

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Content Creator and Editor who is passionate about content creation and video editing. We have a particular focus on finding someone with hands-on experience with Adobe Pro and is able to create different templates and generate multiple shorts and videos.

Responsibilities:

Video Creation: You'll craft engaging videos by seamlessly blending B-rolls, clips, and captivating animated captions. Since we will be producing a lot of videos with a similar structure, a streamlined process is key. Create different templates that can be repurposed and be able to generate multiple videos.

Editing: You'll add compelling animated captions and enhance sound effects to make our videos stand out and grab attention.

Research: You'll gather accurate and pertinent information, screen-record content for videos, and document your findings. You'll receive research direction so you are not solely coming up with video ideas.

Collaboration: We're not just looking for someone to follow tasks but to be a key member of our collaborative team. Your innovative ideas and tool suggestions will help us improve our video production while aligning with our brand's tone and style.

Adaptability: This is key because of how rapidly new technologies emerge. We're looking for someone eager to learn new tools and technologies and swiftly adopt them into our workflow.


Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing.
Ability to quickly learn new editing tools and techniques.
Strong online research skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with YouTube and other online video platforms and the ability to study trends.
Self-initiated, creative, and takes ownership of tasks.
Able to meet set deadlines and coordinate with the team. Deadlines are a serious matter on our team.
With strong organizational skills or excellent time management skills.
Positive Personality and openness to suggestions and feedback. It is very important you join our team with an open mind and always bring good energy.

We aim to make our videos more engaging by incorporating animated text, numbers, and eye-catching visual effects. This is important because the topics we cover can sometimes be a bit dry. Another important thing to note is that we will be producing multiple videos a week, so developing an efficient process is crucial. Fortunately, this should be achievable because the content of the short videos will be similar. You will have the opportunity to shine in long-form videos, which can be 1 or 2 per week.

We'll start with weekly trials to assess your skills and compatibility. If it's a match, we're seeking a candidate ready to commit to a full-time role. This is a full-time position with strict deadlines, and you will be reporting to your team leader regularly.
