Video Editor

Welcome to the Video Editor University application! We are the Hypo Group, and we are training many eager Filipinos to become amazing video editors for U.S. clients!

Are you interested in joining our team that produces world-class video edits? We currently have 8 video editors (many based in the Philippines) and are hiring several more. YOU could be our next hire! Here's a little more about the job position.

Accepted applicants will be put through our own video editor university. You'll get to learn the technology, tricks, and skills that top U.S. video editors use. Your training will be taught by an expert U.S. video editor. He'll teach you everything you need to know to make AMAZING video edits.

Once you graduate the training, you'll join our client success team. The client success team is responsible for completing edits for our clients. You'll work on our clients videos and get feedback from one of our senior editors so that you can keep improving as an editor. Our goal is that you get better and better each time!

We are looking for new and old video editors. You do not need a large portfolio of work to be accepted. If you're willing to learn, we want you! You'll be taught a specific editing style and expected to stick to it, so we are looking for eager and teachable editors who want to learn the best methods for editing.

Here's how to apply:

1. Submit your application here. Important: in the first line of your application, please address me as "Mr. Hypo." I am testing you for attention to detail.

2. Please attach one video edit from your portfolio in your application. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ONE VIDEO. Do not submit a large portfolio. Just submit your very best video. I only have time to watch one video. Applications with no attached videos will be rejected. Applications with more than one attached video will be rejected, too.

3. Please list your desired hours per week and expected hourly rate in $USD in your application.

4. If your application meets our criteria, I will respond. I may have questions for you. Then, I will let you know if you've been accepted into our program.
