Job Description
• Prepares financial calculations and models in Excel.
• Documents work performed and summarizes findings for the reviewing staff.
• Prepares narrative reports.
• Assists in proofing schedules, calculations, work papers, reports, and other documents.
• Accepts responsibility for accuracy of data entry, accumulation, and maintenance in all aspects of work performed.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate with valuation team and manage workload.
• Assists with multiple projects in varying stages of completion.
Important Job Qualifications
• Will need to provide NBI certificate as soon as possible after hire to ensure security clearance guidelines are met
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required
• Experience performing financial analysis tasks
• Experience in business valuation, equity research, private equity/investment banking, and/or valuation consulting preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel tools and techniques
• Creative solver of complex problems, with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills and the ability to work independently with a team to develop solutions
• Preferred: Current and valid business valuation certifications and/or certified public accountant's license.
