VEHICLE SERVICE ADVISOR

We are looking for a Vehicle Service Advisor to work remotely for our UK-based vehicle MOT station and repair centre.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE EXTENSIVE AND PROVABLE EXPERIENCE AS A VEHICLE TECHNICIAN.

The role will be based around liaising with our UK-based customers and working in partnership with our office-based service manager.

This will include (but is not limited to);

- Booking customers into the workshop using our workshop management system
- Advising customers via phone, email or whatsapp
- Communicating with your UK colleagues regarding bookings, jobs and other work related matters
- Compiling estimates, jobsheets and invoices
- Ordering parts via our suppliers online ordering system
- Admistrative tasks such as ordering office and workshop supplies, and general paperwork upkeep.

HARD SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Experience in customer service and sales
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Please note, many english speaking countries have localised colloquial terms. A candidate with more grasp of UK colloquialism would be preferred.
- Good IT skills, including use of Gmail, Google Work Suite.

SOFT SKILLS DESIRED
- A personable and friendly character with a friendly telephone manner
- A keen desire to develop themselves and learn further skills
- Quick thinking and able to problem solve utilising the tools available to them

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
- Stong and stable internet connection with back up available if required
- High quality telephone headset with low background noise (private room is preferred if taking calls)
- Good spec PC

SALARY AND HOURS
- £4.00 P/H starting salary
- 6 Days a week - MON-SAT

We service and repair many makes and models but tend to specilaise in BMW and the VAG group. We are also a DVSA/VOSA approved MOT testing station.
