JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! I am looking for a Bookkeeper to work full-time (40 hours a week) in the US timezone.

Here's the job description:

- Must be professional, knowledgeable, able to multitask, work independently and with a team, and have good problem-solving skills.
- Additional responsibilities of the position include:
- Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Bank account reconciliations
- Review of Accounts Payable
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budget preparation, entry, and review
- Monthly journal entries on an accrual basis
- Board of Director Assistance as it relates to the Financial

Qualifications:

- Degree in accounting or a related field
- Exceptional communication skills – listening, written, and verbal
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Must be very responsive, and have the ability to manage different personalities
- Ability to work independently and with a team in an environment where the emphasis is placed on accuracy and timeliness
- Strong problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals
- GL Accounting & Financial Reporting Experience,
- 2+ years of Excel experience (Required)
- Vantaca, AppFolio, Yardi, or any property management software experience (preferred)
- Experience in professional HOA management preferred
