Talking Head YouTube Video Editor Part-Time (experience required!)

Mission: To educate viewers on the root causes of chronic illness and practical applications for reversing chronic disease via 1) functional medicine 2) brain retraining 3) navigating the healthcare system. This falls within the category of “Health and Wellness/Coaching” and will start off with me at a desk and mic as a “talking head”.

About Me: I am a Small Business Owner and Health and Wellness Practitioner. I focus on helping people overcome chronic illness outside Western Medicine using herbs, nutraceuticals, and brain retraining techniques. I will begin with 2-4 videos/month around 5-15 minutes with the intention of repurposing my YouTube content for short form social media. We will start per project, and if we work well together, I hope to work with you regularly and long-term.

Job Description: I'm looking for an experienced video editor who can do some simple and clean edits to our ongoing videos. Must be FAST, effective, and have previous experience in EDITING! You must be able creative, intuitive, be able to add text and make my videos look professional. If this sounds like you, reply to this job post with:

Editing Skills from the above channels that I like:

1) B-Roll Footage - including access to medical images of concepts I discuss. (example first 10 seconds of Dr. Berg). This might include stock photo, medical illustration/photos, motion graphics
2) Being able to highlight and zoom in on sections of a medical study I am discussing (see Ruscio link at 3:49 and popups like at 5:51). This might include scale ups/zoom-ins, selective highlighting
3) Ability to create EYE-CATCHING YouTube Thumbnails
5) Intro Hooks and Outros a plus
6 ) Whiteboard Explainer Videos (Dr. Rajsree) - I realize this is a more specific skill. Please note if you are able to do this and if you cannot but can do videos like Dr. Berg and Dr. Ruscio, please still apply.
