JOB OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Systems and Cloud Engineer (WFH/Remote)
Rate: PHP 476.190 per hour
Working Hours: EST Hours
Start Date: TBD
Duration: 6 Months , but can be hired permanently depending on your performance

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The day-to-day:

-Work from your own home
-Handling Ticket Escalations
-Updating service tickets.
-Working with teammates to assure timely resolution to client requests.
-Installing and configuring Servers(Windows/Linux)
-Configuring Cloud Services(AWS/Microsoft)
-Daily communication with customer and internal teams
-Identify Client IT needs and work with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to develop solutions.

Typical technical day-to-day:

-Keep our customers safe by ensuring data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance – that’s what it’s all about, right?
-Create and maintain server and network topology, equipment, and configuration documentation for each customer.
-Perform system admin such as: system/application install, server install, patch management, operating system problem analysis and resolution, log analysis, etc.
-On board new clients by deploying system management tools.
-Manage and troubleshoot DNS (GoDaddy, Let’s Encrypt, etc.)
-Provide infrastructure services including operating system, server virtualization using system backup and restore (Acronis, MSP360, Druva, Commvault), Okta, Azure SSO, and in-depth knowledge of Directory Services and integrations with Entra ID.
-Perform environment reviews of cloud stacks, hypervisor and on-prem to evaluate and collaborate with customer in making implementation decisions.
-Design and perform security audits, system backup procedures, recovery processes in accordance with company’s business continuity strategies.
-Performs additional related duties as assigned.

-Have a strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
-Already have 3+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider and 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, implementing, troubleshooting of Windows servers, Linux servers, Cloud (Azure/AWS), and VMware environments.
