Superstar Senior Tax Accountant

Two Sides Accounting is a new age, award winning, 100% remote accounting firm located in Sydney, Australia.

We are looking for an accountant with 5 + years experience working in an Australian accounting firm who has aspirations to manage a small team in the not too distant future. Doing all of the usual accounting firm and tax things... See the list of the key ones below:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax and other returns for companies, trusts & individuals
- Managing the lodgement program for the firm
- Preparation & review of activity statements (BAS/IAS)
- Preparation of Fringe Benefit Returns
- Direct contact with clients and other external service providers
- Assisting with tax planning
- Support junior teaUpgrade to see actual infomber and bookkeeper

Other requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Commerce
- CPA or CA accreditation (desirable).
- Experience with end of year taxation for all client entities, including individuals, companies, trusts & partnerships
- Experience with preparing Business Activity Statements and understanding of Australian GST rules
- Knowledge or experience with Xero
- Experience with Fringe Benefits Tax Return preparation (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commercial awareness and problem solving skills

Ideally working hours would be Mon- Fri 830am-5pm however you have the option of doing extended hours Mon - Thurs and have Friday off.
