Staff Accountant

I am looking for a High-Level Accountant to work for a Marketing and Branding Company based in the US:

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheets
- Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Record monthly journal entries on an accrual basis
- Ensure accurate financial data entry and quality control
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements
- Create and review budgets and projections
- Manage payroll
- Generate routine financial reports for the leadership team
- Provide Finance support to the leadership team

Admin Support:
- Assist in client onboarding and contract renewals
- Provide administrative support, including Human Resources assistance
- Help schedule and plan agency events and staff travel when needed
- Contribute to creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in employee onboarding
- Maintain and update company records, registers, and human resource systems
- Handle additional projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (required)
- CPA highly preferred
- Proficient in Excel (required)
- Experience in General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Strong problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive project management and ability to work independently or with a team
- Highly organized with effective time management skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask
- Resourceful with a growth mindset
- Committed to working 40 hours a week in the US time zone
