Sports Betting Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sports Betting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sports analytics, a proficiency in database management and Excel, and a passion for sports betting and the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from various sports data sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform sports betting strategies
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive databases to store and manage sports data, including player/team statistics, historical results, odds, and betting lines
3. Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to perform complex data analysis, modeling, and forecasting
4. Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data-driven insights and recommendations to the sports betting team
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sports analytics, betting trends, and industry regulations
6. Collaborate with the sports betting team to develop and refine betting strategies, models, and algorithms
7. Provide expert guidance and support to the sports betting team on data-driven decision making

Required Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years of experience as a sports betting analyst, data analyst, or sports statistician
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate large datasets, create complex formulas and functions, and build dynamic dashboards and reports
3. Strong understanding of sports analytics, including player/team performance metrics, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis
4. Experience working with sports data sources, databases, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex data
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights
7. Passion for sports and the sports betting industry
8. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, data science, or finance
