Our head office is in Ontario, Canada but our operations are fully remote! Work with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers connecting via Skype, Gmail, and our in-house social network, HubLinked. This position requires the successful candidate to work within the Eastern Standard Time Zone, speak fluent English, and follow the Canadian Statutory Holidays schedule.

The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) is responsible for mastering our business software products and effectively communicating their value to prospective customers, while also conducting sales of software packages through phone and online presentations. In this role, the TSE will possess a broad technical understanding of our prospective customers' needs and requirements, demonstrating how our software fulfills those needs.

Responsibilities:
Mastering multiple software products and understanding their technical features and capabilities.
Effectively communicating the value proposition of the software to potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, online presentations, and in-person meetings.
Identifying and understanding customer needs and requirements, and tailoring software solutions to meet those needs.
Providing technical support and guidance to customers during the sales process.
Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.
Achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success and growth of the company's software business.

Skills:
Good understanding of business software and ability to learn new products.
Ability to articulate the value of business software to prospective customers over the phone and through demonstrations.
Adept at listening to and interpreting a customer’s business needs and suggesting the appropriate product solutions.
Able to respond quickly and efficiently to a variety of technical questions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, fluency in Spanish is an asset.
Technologically savvy and passionate about technology and solving real-world business challenges.

Compensation and Terms:
This position is offered on a contract basis. Successful candidates will initially receive a three-month contract. Following this period, a performance evaluation will be conducted, and based on the results, the contract may be extended indefinitely.
Compensation is based on salary plus commissions.
