Software Quality Developer

Looking for an individual that works well in a team-oriented environment. Testing individual applications as well as the integrations between them. We work in a fast-paced environment with 2-week sprints. Attention to detail is a must as we stive to ensure high quality releases in a timely manner. As we are a small team all working remote, communication is a vital part of day-to-day operations. Must be able to work between our normal business hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time Zone.

What you will be doing
• Executing manual test scenarios (cases) and analyze results
• Exploratory testing
• Write test scenarios (cases) for new and existing features
• Report and document bugs and errors to development teams
• Provide status updates on testing results as requested
• Maintain test cases, test plans and test executions in Jira/Xray
• Collaborate with Developers and Stake holders to ensure quality of finished product
• Communicating with developers and stake holders to ensure all requirements met
• Participating in requirement planning for new features


Qualifications
• 2 + years of software testing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of White box, Grey box and Black box testing methods
• Experience writing and executing basic SQL queries
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Familiar with testing API using tool such as Postman
• Self-motivated, looks for ways to improve processes
• Experience working in Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence)

Nice to Have
• Selenium web-driver experience for UI Testing
• Experience with writing automated Selenium tests using C# or Java
• Cucumber and gherkin experience
• Familiar with Jenkins and Git
