Software QA

THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and well-organized Software QA mainly to assess software quality by performing system and functional testing and other required testing procedures. You will be responsible for capturing all issues and ensuring that they are resolved and fit for use and purpose before it reach the intended users. You are to make sure that our systems, applications, products are working correctly, and all issues have been resolved and new defects are not introduced.

Fast Track FBA operates a range of services to support our customers in running eCommerce stores, selling on the Amazon marketplace. We have two core products, one a lead service that provides information on where to find a product that you can buy low, resell high, for a profit on the Amazon marketplace. The second service is a recruitment and training service for virtual assistants to work within other Amazon sellers’ businesses.

We continue to double our teaUpgrade to see actual infombers as we expand our business portfolios and to other marketplaces.

The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
KEY RESULT AREA #1: USER TESTING
Create, maintain, update and execute test scenarios
Perform system, functional, regression, UI, UAT and performance/load testing
Analyze business requirements and understand the test acceptance criteria
Meet software functional specifications based on user/customer requirements
Capture and resolve all issues before reaching the customer’s environment
Develop test cases that conform to established software testing standards
Provide appropriate recommendation before system deployment
Performance Metrics: No. of completed test scenarios, Resolved Issues

KEY RESULT AREA #2: DOCUMENTATION
Generate test data fit for purpose
Identify, log, track, and report issues and/or problem areas within software
Document defects according to testing standards
Document results of completed testing assignments
Create and maintain test case documentation
Prepare User Guide/Procedures and Presentation across various mediums (digital print or video)
Performance Metrics: Complete documentation and User manuals

KEY RESULT AREA #3: REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT
Participate in process improvements exercises
Assist in designing and developing test plans, strategies, and methods
Perform production issue investigation and assist in requirements gathering
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of test documentation
Performance Metrics: Complete and accurate investigation report, No. of evaluated test documentation

KEY RESULT AREA #4 Project Management
Collaborate with different departments/ business units for all any related projects and programs
Performance Metrics: Project Timelines, Milestones


THE REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related course, from a reputable university
1-3 years’ work experience in testing software
Business domain experience is a plus

TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW
Must have a good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle
Must have knowledge of ScruUpgrade to see actual infothodology and Agile environment
Must have an imaginative, creative mind on testing and investigations
Above average skill set in Excel with Macros is a plus
Basic SQL and database know-how is a plus
Automation Testing experience is an advantage
Basic understanding of API is an advantage
Working knowledge of related tools, vocabulary, and workflows
SOFT SKILLS
Communication Skills; fluent in English (essential) – spoken and written
Business Acumen
Teamwork/Interpersonal Skills
High level of Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Google Suite
Communication Media - Slack, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Zoom
