Social Media Video Editor

Algo Coach and FX Alive is seeking a skilled and creative video editor to join our team on a freelance basis. We specialize in delivering high-quality educational content, focusing on algorithmic coaching and programming tutorials. Our aim is to make learning engaging and accessible to a wide audience through our YouTube channel. This channel does not yet exist, but the content is being generated daily and is ready for editing and production.

Responsibilities:

Edit 3-10 videos per week, ensuring they are engaging, visually appealing, and adhere to our brand guidelines.
Collaborate with our content team to understand the objectives of each video and implement feedback as necessary.
Enhance video content with graphics, animations, and sound effects as needed.
Optimize videos for YouTube, including adding tags, titles, and descriptions to increase visibility.
Ensure all content is delivered on schedule and meets our quality standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create compelling visual content.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Ability to work with various video formats and convert them as needed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating educational content.

Content Format:

Initially, you will be provided with raw footage in formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, or whatever is optimal. It is essential that you have the capability to work with these formats and any other specific formats we may use in the future. Additionally, access to any graphics or assets needed for video enhancement will be provided.
