Location: Remote

Welcome to an exciting opportunity in the world of digital engagement! We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Moderator / Outreach Associate to join our creative team. This role is instrumental in maintaining a positive online presence and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.

Responsibilities:

In a timely manner, cross-train with the Content Marketing and Customer Service teams
Actively monitor and engage with the online community across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions, embodying the brand voice and ensuring a positive user experience, as well as going above and beyond to resolve problems for our Members  
Implement content moderation strategies to maintain a respectful and brand-appropriate online environment.
Identify and address any inappropriate or harmful content, escalating issues as necessary.
Foster a sense of community by initiating and participating in conversations with followers.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and implement community-building initiatives.
Proactively identify and engage with potential influencers, partners, and collaborators in the online space.
Execute outreach strategies to expand our brand reach and foster mutually beneficial relationships, including posting on forums that our target audience visit
Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual representation across channels.
Utilize social media analytics tools to track engagement metrics, audience sentiment, and overall social media performance.


REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated experience in managing and moderating social media accounts.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Strong written communication skills with an ability to engage effectively and professionally with diverse audiences.
Proven ability to take initiative in identifying outreach opportunities and addressing community needs.
Work collaboratively with the creative team, content creators, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand representation.
Ability to navigate and moderate online discussions, addressing both positive and negative interactions with professionalism.
Comfortable using social media analytics tools to extract meaningful insights and inform decision-making.
