JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for a part time Social Media Specialist (20 hours per week for now) to assist in creating and scheduling content to our accounts.

Read below for additional information regarding the position.


TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION YOU MUST ANSWER THE FOLLOWING:

1.) Send over a link to your portfolio showcasing posts/graphics you have created and or videos you have edited.

2.) Send over links to the social media pages you helped manage/posted content to

3.) Explain how you stay on top of current trends.

4.) Explain how you monitor post engagement and research trending hashtags

5.) Explain how you determine best posting times for each platform based on engagement

6.) Explain how you learned how to become a social media specialist and provide a brief summary of any social media courses you took and how long it took to compete each course?

7.) Have you ever created a 12-month content calendar? If so how long did it take you to schedule all posts from the plan and what type of posts did you share?

8.) Have you ever researched and worked with influencer outreach before?

9.) Have you responded to comments/enquiries/interacted with posts?

10.) Do you know what analytics are?

11.) Have you used a social post scheduling software before? If so which one?

12.) Have you or are you using AI for graphics or social posting in any way? If No, would you be willing to try AI to help with social media?

13.) List what tools you have experience using for your content creation/management.

14.) Do you have experience using Canva or CapCut Pro? Provide examples of content you've made with them if so.

15.) How many hours/days can you work? Can you work some or all of the New York Time during our 9 to 5 work day?

18.) Share a video of how you schedule a post for any one of the following social platform including captions and hashtags (Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok) You only need to show one video for one social media platform. Chose from those just listed. Confirm if there is a platform you do not know how to post to.



Job Requirements:

- Proficient understanding of how each of the social platforms work individually in regard to social post templates and styles. (Ex; Reels, Videos, Graphics, Photos.) (Post types that work best for each platform.)
- Proven track record of Social Media training and experience managing another persons social media account(s).
- Experience tracking analytics for post engagement
- Have experience in utilizing AI in social posts/content produced
- Knows how to monitor analytics to determine best posting times
- Understanding of how to use trending hashtags
- Experience creating, planning, and scheduling a 6-12 month content calendar
- Proficient in editing in CapCut Pro or similar editing software.
- Moderate video editing skills such as being able to cut and piece together separate video pieces as well as add moving captions and music
- Ability to put together visually appealing graphic designs
- Proficient in Canva
- Basic understanding of how to create thumbnail images for Reels
- Can work in New York Time Hours (if required)
- Can participate in weekly ZooUpgrade to see actual infoetings if necessary
- Understand and have used third party scheduler programs (We use Social Pilot) (Examples: Hootsuite, Buffer, Social Sprout)
- Must be willing to use the time keeper on Onlinejobs called Timeproof. (It is free to use)
