JOB OVERVIEW

Hi, I’m Sierra Johnson the owner of Film the Dream Productions, a video production company that focuses on short-form social media content and longer-form podcasts and Youtube videos. I am looking for a part-time employee with excellent Video, Motion/Title graphics, color grading, and Audio Editing skills, using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Also, experience with thumbnail design or Photoshop is a plus!

Your Top Starting Tasks:

*Editing multi-camera video podcast episodes (about an hour each)
- I will train you on our formats but each episode has 2-3 segments and has outlines to follow.
*Create Motion Graphic Title graphics for the podcast opener, segment titles and/or tips, and lower thirds.
* Color Grading/ Correcting (footage was shot on different cameras but just needs a touch-up to look cohesive. (Let me know if you have experience in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or what editing software you use)
* Edit revisions based on clients' wants & needs
*Create Scroll Stopping Thumbnails using Photoshop, preferably, or Canva
*Create short-form Teasers of the videos and podcast episodes for Social Media
* Communicate daily reports and project progress through Slack.

Required technical skills and experience:
To qualify for the position, you will need at least 3 years of experience in the following:

1. Video Editing & Color Grading Experience
2. Graphic design or Motion Graphics experience
3. Audio Editing & Syncing experience

In our fast-paced industry, having a VA who meets the following criteria is absolutely essential:
- Creative Editor who can add pizazz & flair to footage given
- A fast learner
- Pays close attention to detail
- Follow instructions to the letter
- Able to manage time and complete projects on schedule

In addition to having excellent English skills, you’ll need to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them:
- Web research using search engines like Google, IE, Bing, etc
- Gmail and other email applications
- Google Docs
- Dropbox
- Communications apps: Slack
- Project management software: May use Notion for timelines and planning
- Time management or time tracking software: (TimeProof, Time Doctor, Tmetric, Toggle)

We’re looking for someone who can grow with us and rise from the ranks. It would be a bonus if you have the following skills; this can help you stand out from other applicants:
1. Animation experience
2. Photo Editing Experience
3. Social Media Management

Pay: $500/month starting

Perks:
*You can work whenever you want as long as you complete your assignments each week. You will not have to wake up or work at any given time. We will find a common time that works for both of us to have meetings.
*Opportunity to advance/get bonuses! Could grow into a full-time position due to growing clientele.
*Flexible Vacation, if you need time off just let me know in advance. You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves
after the 6-month probation period. We honor most Filipino holidays.
*Once you complete your 6-month probation, you will get your 13th-month bonus!
