Short-Form Video Editor

This position is for an editor specializing in short-form content on all social media platforms. I will provide footage that must be edited down to 60 seconds while remaining engaging and true to my original video style. My social media handle Upgrade to see actual info and I am just looking for someone who can help make my videos better. Ideally, I would like 1 video a day, but we will work towards that as we develop a good flow and consistent style for the videos.

I will only be looking at applications that can provide me a sample edit of one of my videos. I am looking for someone truly dedicated and who can edit at my ability of video editing. If you are willing to provide a sample video to help land you the position, then I encourage you to apply.

Below, I will provide the footage of the video, and some links to other videos to reference when editing my video. I encourage you to follow the style of the provided video clips, but if you feel you can enhance the video in any other way, I am open to it. As long as you can provide an edited copy of my video, I will look at your application.

For the videos, you will be expected to include on-screen captions, music, and sound effects, and to fix the color and exposure if necessary. They will all be in vertical format (9:16 aspect ratio/1080 by 1920 pixels) and will either be filmed in 24FPS or 60FPS; I will inform you each time I send a new project to ensure you edit with the correct settings.

Comedic timing will also be necessary. In my videos, there are numerous times where I cut music, add sound effects, change music etc. and I am looking for someone who can replicate this and understand my sense of humor. I encourage you to look up my TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube channel Upgrade to see actual info to get an idea of my humor and how I like my videos edited.

This job will start at $15/Video, but I will be happy to increase the pay once videos continuously roll out and perform well.

This is not an hourly paid job, it will be project-based. So there is no designated amount of time you will be working a week. However, if you make great videos, you will get more work.

Each video MUST be 60-61 seconds for TikTok and may be requested to be edited down to 45-55 seconds for all other platforms.
