Responsibilities:
As a part-time Shopify Website Developer, your primary focus will be managing, building and optimising Shopify sites for desktop & mobile. Your job will be to ensure the Shopify sites we are working with are optimised for e-commerce brands and customers.
You will be equipped with specialized Shopify Development skills through our education technology system, ensuring that you become an expert in this domain. We are willing to invest significant time, energy and resources into the right candidate to build their skill level and ability to earn increased compensation.

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing Shopify Stores
- Building Landing Pages from provided wireframes
- Optimising Shopify Store for Ecommerce
- Customising Shopify Apps
- Implementing Shopify API integrations
- Resolving Shopify store front-end and back-end issues
- Make Shopify store improvements on the front end and back end
- Ensuring all website issues are identified and resolved quickly


Required Skills:
- A fast learner and a self-starter
- Shopify Custom-build, Template modifications, Installation, 3rd Party App Integrations etc. Debugging & Testing
- Knowledgeable with ecommerce development
- Custom extensions and creative solutions on the Shopify platform
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript, jQuery, CSS frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap and Javascript frameworks such as Angular JS
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Understanding of Product, Discount, Order APIs and customizations using the APIs
- Awareness of the Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards and their configurations in Shopify
- Experience with code version/ branching tools like Git/SVN
- Good knowledge in AJAX/JQuery
- Usage of theme-kit or similar code push methodology experience
- Prior experience with product/Customer/Order import Export management
- Solid knowledge of performance Improvement best practices
