Shopify Theme Sections Designer / Reviewer

We're a small informal team building an amazing Shopify app that merchants love.

I'm the founder Daniel, and I'm highly involved and in love with the project.
?We describe our app like this: “How Shopify Stores Are Designed
Shopify Theme Sections (250+) Library: Design your dream Shopify store without page-builders, developers & monthly fees”

I’m currently the one finding designs and reviewing all the theme sections we release in our Section library. I work closely with our Section Developer (Anton) and you will too.

Your tasks include:

- Find/design trending e-commerce web components and hand them over to our Shopify section developer.
- Find designs by; Spy on some of the best designed e-commerce stores, follow experts on social media (X has worked for me), use design aggregators such as Upgrade to see actual info, Upgrade to see actual infosign etc (use the ones you like most).
- Make sure section.store offers a wide variety of all types of different sections. Find gaps in our catalog in fill it out. We’re a mass market product.
- Design your own unique section components.
- Review sections from a-z; Make sure every setting works perfectly, section is flexbile in design (can match the brand of most stores) and works on any device and browser.
- You work closely with Anton (our shopify theme developer) to make sure the sections are flawless and works on 99.99% of all themes.
- Make a demo page on our store and showcase 3 different variations of the section. Different colors, images, brand-vibes, text etc.
- Release the sections on our app with description and thumbnail image.

Test task:

- [ ] Install section.store shopify app on your test store (if you don’t have one, make one)… Familiarise yourself with the app and then continue:
- [ ] Go through our catalog of sections and with that in mind: Find 2 web-component designs, or design your own. Include either; a screenshot to the design and link to the page or Figma file with desktop + mobile design.
- [ ] 1 that could be our next best-seller.
- [ ] 1 that fills a gap in our catalog. A common e-commerce component we don’t already have.
- [ ] Send a list of 3 e-commerce stores that you think are really well designed. Your favourites. Try to capture the style that you like.
