Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify-based e-commerce solutions for our clients. As a Shopify Developer at Kessel Media Group, you will collaborate with our project teams to deliver high-quality, customized Shopify solutions that meet our clients' unique needs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Develop and customize Shopify themes to create visually appealing and user-friendly online storefronts.
Implement custom functionality and features using Shopify's APIs, Liquid templating language, and JavaScript.
Integrate third-party apps and platforms to extend Shopify's capabilities and meet project requirements.
Optimize Shopify stores for performance, speed, and search engine visibility.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and stability of Shopify solutions.
Stay updated on the latest Shopify trends, features, and best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
Broad shop construction, launch, and maintenance expertise, as well as a general understanding of the admin system.
Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM.
Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API.
Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.
Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed.
In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks.
Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
Extensive testing and debugging abilities using the browser console and other tools.
Prior experience developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins.
Capability to communicate effectively and provide proactive feedback.
