Senior Project/ Product Manager

As a Product/Project Manager at Jumii, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day project activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products within stipulated timelines. You will utilize agile project management techniques, manage Kanban boards, and foster a collaborative team environment to drive our projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities:
Implement and manage project activities using Agile methodologies, focusing on continuous delivery and iterative development processes.
Utilize Kanban boards effectively to prioritize tasks and track project progress.
Conduct weekly huddles to ensure team alignment and address any immediate challenges.
Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team, including a Design Lead and a Development Lead, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Prepare and present end-of-week progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct retrospective analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize project outcomes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related queries and decision-making.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Project Manager in a technology-driven environment, preferably in healthcare technology.
Strong understanding of Agile project management principles and practices, with practical experience in using Kanban boards.
Excellent leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and stakeholders at all levels.
Capable of conducting thorough retrospective analyses and producing detailed reports.
A proactive problem solver, agile in adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certification in Agile Project Management (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
