Senior MERN Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior MERN Engineer with deep expertise in React or similar front-end frameworks to lead the development of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a proven ability to design and implement complex, scalable systems. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using React for the front-end. - Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications. - Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and ensure best practices are followed. - Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues. - Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in web development and integrate them into projects as appropriate. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer MERN or similar role. - Extensive experience with JavaScript - A deep understanding of React.js (or Angular or Vue) and its core principles. - Proven experience with popular React.js workflows (FLux or Redux). - Strong proficiency with Node.js and back-end frameworks such as Express.js. - Proficient in database technologies including MongoDB and ElasticSearch. - Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integrating third-party services. - Solid understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools. - Experience with version control systems, specifically Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with TypeScript. - Knowledge of cloud platform AWS. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
