Our growing organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our server infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Server Administration:
Manage and administer Windows Server and VMware ESX environments.
Implement and maintain Hyper-V and VMware Infrastructure.
Network and Security:
Configure and manage firewalls to ensure network security.
Implement and maintain DHCP, DNS, and other networking services.
Implement and monitor backup solutions to safeguard critical data.
Work with Sophos and other security tools to ensure information security.
Virtualization:
Administer VMware Workstation and Microsoft VDI environments.
Utilize Terminal Server for efficient remote access solutions.
End User Support:
Provide support for Microsoft products.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to server infrastructure.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience in System Administration and Server Management.
In-depth knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and other networking protocols.
Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, VMware ESX, and VMware Infrastructure.
Familiarity with Microsoft Servers, Microsoft VDI, and Windows XP.
MCSA certification and other relevant certifications.
Experience with backup solutions and information security tools.
Proficient in using MS Project for project management.
Knowledge of Sophos and other security measures.
Familiarity with Kaseya for IT management.
