Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant - Australian Business

Looking for a superstar accountant / senior bookkeeper to work across multiple Australian based customers for my business. This will be a hands on role and will involve liaising with customers directly as well as core responsibility for handling of all the bookkeeping and direct tax requirements each month including:

-Account Reconciliation, including Bank and Credit Card reconciliation
-Accounts Receivable / Payable Management
-Review comparative GL accounts
-Payroll preparation and STP filing requirements
-BAS preparation and lodgments

Required qualifications and experience:

-Accounting degree, preferably CPA or equivalent qualified.
-Australian bookkeeping experience and BAS knowledge essential
-Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month-end close process.
-Prior experience using Xero and Hubdocs.
