SEO Specialist and Content Writer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled SEO Specialist and Content Writer to join our digital marketing team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both local and regular SEO best practices, and experience conducting keyword research and competitor gap analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

-Conducting in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities for our website and blog content
-Analyzing competitor websites and identifying content gaps and areas for improvement in our own SEO strategy
-Proactively building high-quality backlinks through strategic outreach to authoritative websites and thought leaders in our niche
-Writing compelling, SEO-optimized blog posts and website copy that engage readers and drive organic traffic
-Staying up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates and adjusting our strategy as needed
-Tracking and reporting on key SEO metrics and making data-driven recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

-Proven experience improving organic search rankings and driving traffic through SEO

-Proficient in building and managing high-quality local citations across relevant directories, platforms, and websites to improve local search visibility and rankings
-Skilled at using SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, etc.
-Excellent writer with samples of SEO-optimized content
-Thorough understanding of on-page and technical SEO best practices
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
