SEO Content Writer for a Fintech Company

We're searching for a talented and creative Freelance Content Writer with a solid understanding of SEO to join our team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our blog and website. Your content will help us rank higher in search engines, attract and educate customers, and convince them to use our product. This position will report directly to a senior SEO strategist and editors. The ideal candidate will have some years of experience, be capable of crafting both short and long-form content, and possess a knack for basic design or the use of design tools.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with a senior SEO strategist and editors to develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
- Write 5-10 high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts and web content on a weekly basis.
- Each article typically ranges from 1,000 to 1,200 words in length with custom designs or images. Hence, we’re proposing a fixed-price project arrangement.
- Your articles need to be AI-free and plagiarism-free content.
- You will be provided a Content Brief to use as a guideline to optimize and better structure your content based on user intent and keywords
- Identify customers' needs and recommend new content topics
- Use basic design skills or design tools to enhance content visual appeal

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a relevant field
- A few years of proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with SEO tools and techniques, keyword research, and data analytics (Ahrefs, GA4, GSC)
- Basic design skills or familiarity with design tools
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in fintech, startups, or direct-to-consumer companies in finance, banking, or payments is a plus
