RYSE (Upgrade to see actual info) is a smart home startup based in North America; we design devices to automate window coverings controllable via smartphone app, voice, or integrated with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Homekit. Our products have been featured in TechCrunch, CNET, PCMag, Fox News, CBS, and has received the Mark of Excellence Award for Motorized Product of the Year at CES.

We are looking for a copywriter with advertising, content writing, SEO, and email marketing experience to join our team. You will have the responsibility to develop and launch our ad/sales copy, blogs, social media messaging, and company updates. Writing topics are focused on two main industries: the smart home, and window coverings/fashion.

Fluent English is mandatory.

SALARY: $50,000

Key Accountabilities:
- Generate copy designed for a variety of contexts and platforms, including social media, TV/videos, blogs, email newsletters/campaigns, website, landing pages, video scripts, presentations.
- Craft engaging headlines and concise copy that captivates and entices the target audience, and drives interest and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand voice, style guidelines, and messaging strategies.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Write and/or editing image copy and captions for social media posts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and evolving needs in the industry to continuously improve content effectiveness.


Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of work experience as a copywriter or content writer.
- Fluency and strong command in the English language, both verbally and written.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working in brand platforms and demonstrating an understanding crafting copy in service to the brand’s tone of voice.
- Attention to detail, a love of style guides, and organizational skills for maintaining internal copy systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with digital advertising copy, SEO writing, blog writing, email marketing.
- Experience with Email Marketing programs and campaigns.
- Evidence of creative ability (book of work/Portfolio).
