Route Planner

We are a Medical logistics company seeking (1) qualified Route Planner to add to our team!

We have the following shifts available:

--->>>Monday-Friday (12:30pm-2:30pm EST)- 10 hours per week-----

Needs to have experience with route planning, mapping tools, strong analytical and problem solving skills to assess route efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize delivery schedules based on factors like distance, traffic patterns, weather conditions, and delivery priorities.

The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams to coordinate transportation activities and resolve issues with minimal management involvement.

**Relevant experience in logistics planning (a plus if you have experience in the on-demand delivery industry), route optimization, or transportation management is highly beneficial.

We are seeking a candidate who has meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate mapping, timely deliveries, and compliance with company policies.

Must also have the ability to handle unexpected challenges, such as traffic disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, or last-minute route changes, and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions to the transportation process.
