Remote Video Editor / Descript Clip Processor

We are looking for someone to help us process raw clips from existing long-form footage.
Your primary task is to edit mistakes or cut out unnecessary segments to ensure coherence and conciseness, using Descript. Processed clips will be forwarded to our main editor for final animations.

Requirements:
- Basic editing skills with Descript; advanced video editing skills are a plus.
- Long-term, we prefer candidates with experience in Adobe Premiere for future post-production and animation tasks.

Duties:
- PRIMARY: Edit selected ~45s clips within Descript (raw clips provided).
- Secondary: Handle some simple post-production tasks over time (training provided).
- Long-term: Assist in selecting timestamps for clips from raw footage.

Position Details:
- Fully remote, full-time (40 hours/week)
- $521 per month
- Flexible and low-stress working conditions

Working hours: 7am - 4pm Eastern Time.
