The Role:

We’re on the lookout for a React Native Engineer who is not only proficient in frontend development but is also adept at contributing across our full stack. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for crafting high-quality, user-centric software and driving daily improvements for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of front-end features in React Native and Expo, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Contribute to backend development with TypeScript, AWS API Gateway, and AWS Lambda when needed.
- Develop custom Expo or React Native modules for hardware interaction and third-party SDKs.
- Work collaboratively with developers and our product manager in the development process.
- Independently manage tasks, actively contributing to team decisions and discussions.

Required Skills:

- Extensive experience in React Native and Expo.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies with a focus on performance optimization in React Native applications.
- Experience in building custom Expo or React Native modules for hardware interfaces and third-party SDKs.
- Knowledgeable in TypeScript and NodeJS.
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
- Excellent English communication skills and capability to work in a remote team setting.

- Commitment to avoiding siloed work.

Strong Asset:

- Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK).
- Enthusiasm for test-driven development (TDD).
