Quality Systems Developer (Remote)

Job Title: Quality Systems Developer - Project Based Contract - Ad hoc work

Overview: We are seeking a talented Quality Systems Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) and software solutions to support our quality assurance initiatives. This role requires strong technical skills, expertise in quality management principles, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed to implement and optimize quality management systems and software solutions.
-Design, develop, and implement quality management systems (QMS) and software solutions to support quality assurance processes, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, regulatory affairs, IT, and operations, to gather requirements, define system specifications, and develop customized solutions.
-Customize and configure off-the-shelf quality management software platforms (e.g., EQMS, QMS) to meet organizational needs, including workflow automation, data integration, and reporting capabilities.
-Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to track key quality metrics, performance indicators, and compliance status.
-Conduct system testing, validation, and verification activities to ensure functionality, reliability, and usability of quality management systems and software applications.
-Provide training and support to users on quality management systems and software tools, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing guidance on best practices.
-Stay current with advancements in quality management software, technology trends, and regulatory requirements, and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
-Support internal and external audits of quality management systems and software applications, including documentation and evidence preparation.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the performance of quality management systems and software solutions.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in software development, quality assurance, or a related role, with a focus on quality management systems and compliance.
-Proficiency in programming languages and development tools, such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
-Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations).
-Experience with quality management software platforms (e.g., MasterControl, TrackWise, SAP QM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
-Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
-Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all system development and implementation activities.
-Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
-Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) and software development (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
