QA Specialist

We are seeking a Freelance QA Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and creatives to ensure project success by providing thorough testing feedback and implementing website adjustments. The position offers an estimated workload of 20-30 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities
- Test updates and new features based on client feedback
- Conduct comprehensive website testing, including functionality, performance, and security
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues
- Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for website adjustments and improvements
- Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues
- Ensure websites meet high standards of usability, functionality, and performance
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and timelines with clients and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
- Maintain test documentation and report testing results
- Continuously improve QA processes and practices

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a QA Specialist
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Self-sufficient, organized, and solution-focused
- Solid project management and resource management skills
- Proficiency with website testing, including functionality, performance, and security testing
- Knowledge of QA automation tools and techniques
- Understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Airtable, and Google Drive
- Understanding of staging, development, and production environments
- Information architecture and UX experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with digital marketing and/or design is a plus
