QA Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance and a strong background in software testing methodologies. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the test automation strategy and frameworks. Your role will entail the creation and maintenance of functional automation tests, spanning both the API and user-interface tiers.

**Your day to day**

- Collaborates with Architect, Engineers, Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure delivery of tested stories at the end of each sprint.
- Participates in planning and grooming sessions to ensure stories are properly estimated.
- Responsible for ensuring applications are properly tested prior to deployment to production. This covers functional, integration & performance testing.
- Coordinates and raises defects to the team. Capable of doing initial investigation of defects via application logs.
- Contributes to test automation. Creates automated test scripts using BDD or data-driven approach.
- Quick learner. Able to quickly ramp-up when deployed to a new project.
- Contributes to further improvements of the different testing activities.

**What do you need to succeed?**

- Minimal 5 years of hands-on test automation experience
- Experience in Python / JAVA / C# and Visual Studio code development knowledge
- Experience working with at least one of the following tools: Git, Postman, ClickUp, Cucumber
- Experience in at least one of the following test automation tools: Robot Framework, Karate
- Strong knowledge in Version Control software such as BitBucket, GitHub, GitLab
- Hands-on experience in keyword and data-driven automation frameworks (preferred on large-scale projects)
- Experience working with toolsets to build CI/CD pipeline
- Preference to have knowledge on Docker and Container solutions.
