UTV Canada is a powersports accessories distributor located in Leduc, Alberta, Canada. UTV Canada conducts a robust wholesale and retail business within Canada. The company is headquartered in Leduc, where the majority of staff work and product is warehoused and shipped to and from. We have many staff working remote across Canada and are full set-up to welcome an overseas staff member!

About the Role

The Purchasing Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Director of Procurement at UTV Canada. This position is responsible for assisting with purchasing, inventory management, and providing analytical and administrative support. The coordinator will work with the Procurement Director to ensure operational efficiencies and contribute to revenue enhancement through effective purchasing, procurement, and inventory strategies.?

Our ideal candidate is someone who as experience as a purchaser and with inventory management. You are extremely fluent in English and Excel and are organized almost to a fault! You’ll be working in collaboration with the Director of Procurement, so communication and cooperation will be especially prized.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks?

?
Upload purchase orders and coordinate with logistics to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.?

Ensure purchase orders within the ERP have all documentation attached including (but not limited to) proforma invoices, commercial invoices, HS/HTS codes and any required product declarations.?

Enter mins, maxes, and re-order points for all SKUs, making updates as needed seasonally and in-season.?

Ensure product and items data is entered accurately and audit frequently / maintain.?

Update/upload pricing within the ERP as provided by the Director, Commercial and monitor frequently for any discrepancies or errors.?

Report on backorders, frequently updating teams on ETAs and working as required to adjust backorders when needed.?

Coordinate with logistics to ensure all SKUs in inventory have accurate cost estimations assigned to properly estimate landed cost (this includes exchange, shipping, customs, and brokerage fees)?

Coordinate with logistics when receiving anomalies occur such as shortages and overages, and work to resolve them.?

Ensure import information is accurate and provided to logistics for imports to Canada and the United States - including correct HS / HTS classifications and product declarations and/or scope exemptions.?

Unified sheet maintenance.?

Collaborate with logistics on dropships.?

Handle the AR shipment.?

Other duties as required.?
