We are seeking a Production Assistant who will work with our production team to help with creating, editing, reviewing, publishing, and supporting our online courses for our students around the world. The Production Assistant will be able to use their creativity in videos and graphics. The videos and graphics you create will not only entertain, but they will be used to transform the lives of our students and help them advance in their careers. As video is our predominant training method on our online platforms, your position plays an integral role in our student's (and our company's) success. This role is part ‘graphics editor’, part ‘video editor’, and part ‘administration support’. Don’t worry, though, we will provide training for the right candidate!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a production assistant, you will produce clean, well-created slides, graphics, and animation according to the templates and training provided. You must be experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in order to create study guides from the videos, edit spreadsheets, and produce slides to use within the videos. Graphics creation from scratch is not required, but instead you will select appropriate stock photography or modify existing vector graphics for use in the finished videos. You should be process-driven and able to follow existing processes, document new processes, and train other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers on those processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create slides, within Dion Training expectations, for course videos that will help students with the course material
Uploading course materials on the platforms we use
Watch and review course videos, and make sure they are error-free while paying close attention to detail and catching any error in sound/volume, captions, background, slides, voiceovers, etc.
Create social media graphics, that are on brand, to post into FB groups.
Create thumbnails and title screens for courses (when needed) using the course outline as a guide
Conduct all technical aspects of video editing and production using cloud-based tools and training provided by Dion Training
Work with our instructors to creatively display their curriculum
Regularly collaborate with the rest of our team
Follow our company's brand guidelines
Work independently and within production schedules

Requirements and Qualifications

Be able to attend teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings each Mondays 9 am (Eastern Standard Time)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required)
Experience creating animation for short content form
Experience of using basic video editing software (recommended, but training provided for the right candidate)
Creative thinker
Independent problem-solver
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects is preferred
