JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a meticulous and innovative Product Researcher to join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for market trends, a solid understanding of customer needs, and the ability to identify potential product opportunities. The Product Researcher will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, and making informed recommendations to support our product development and procurement strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Market Research: Conduct thorough research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive products to identify potential new products.
-Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and improvement.
-Product Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality products at competitive prices.
-Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and consumer behavior to forecast future product demands.
-Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings, product performance, and market opportunities.
-Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and procurement teams to ensure product strategies align with business goals.
-Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improve existing products.
-Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for differentiation.
-Project Management: Manage product research projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of insights and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in product research, market analysis, or a related role in an eCommerce environment (Amazon, Alixpress, etc.)
-Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, SPSS) and market research tools (e.g., EPROLO, Zendrop, Google sheets and Docs, Junglescout, AdSpy, Vidtao, etc.).
-Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape, including current trends, technologies, and competitive dynamics.
-Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
-Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in conducting research and analyzing data.
-Creativity: Ability to think creatively and propose innovative product ideas and solutions.
-Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
-Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, with a willingness to learn and grow.
