Do you have a passion for audio and video production and a knack for building captivating content? Are you a self-starter with a hunger to grow in the exciting world of podcasting and YouTube creation?
If so, we're looking for YOU! We're seeking a talented and experienced Podcast & YouTube Engineer to join our team on a project basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a rockstar to showcase their skills, build a strong portfolio, and potentially transition into a long-term role (benefits included!)
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for editing and posting audio and visual content for our podcast and YouTube channel. This includes:
Importing, editing, and mixing audio for podcast episodes.
Editing and optimizing video footage for YouTube.
Creating compelling titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.
Uploading content to platforms and ensuring smooth publishing.
You'll collaborate closely with the podcast host and YouTube content creators to ensure the final product meets their vision.
This is a project-based role with compensation per episode. The initial period will be probationary for the first 5 episodes.
While this role doesn't currently offer benefits, there's a clear path to transition into a full-time position with benefits based on performance and project needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience editing and mixing audio for podcasts.
Experience editing and optimizing video content for YouTube preferred.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices for podcasting and YouTube.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
A passion for podcasting and YouTube creation is a major plus!
