JOB OVERVIEW

Do you love listening to podcasts? Are you passionate about digital marketing?

Imagine having a job where you get paid to listen to podcasts, learn about different marketing tactics, and help the environment as a result of your efforts...

That's what you'll get in this role.

We're hiring a podcast touring coordinator to help our founder secure bookings on more podcasts and manage the operations of our podcast touring programme.

The opportunity:
- Part-time work (2-4 hours/day) with the potential to go full-time for the right person.
- Super flexible: work from anywhere and set your own hours (as long as you get the work done).
- Receive coaching and training from our founder (he is a marketing coach, so you'll also deepen your digital marketing skillset).
- You will be reporting directly to our founder and managing director, Callum Armstrong.
- Treated with respect, appreciation and kindness. Diversity is welcomed, and we consider all applicants who possess the skills required.
- Your work will contribute to helping biodiversity and the environment (see 'about us' below for more details).

Benefits:
- $5-7USD/hour.
- Always paid on time.
- Paid for any extra hours worked overtime + 13th month.
- Payrises granted proactively for a job well done.

What you'll be doing:
- Opportunity sourcing: finding podcasts that fit our criteria and compiling their contact details to connect with.
- Listening to podcasts: listening to 10-20 minutes of a podcast episode to gather unique insights that can be used to personalise the initial contact email with the host.
- Contacting podcast hosts: using our templates, you'll be taking the insights gathered from listening to an episode and using it to send an initial outreach email.
- Communication & co-ordination: communicating with Callum and the podcast hosts via email to arrange suitable times, booking it into the calendar, and managing the day-to-day operations of the podcast touring programme.
- Other marketing admin and ad hoc support as required.
- Potential to expand the role in the future to include video editing (creating shortform videos from podcast episodes), reposting content onto social media channels, and support with the operations of our own podcast + newsletter. If you are the right fit and interested in this work, there's opportunity to expand your role into these skills, but if not, that's also okay.

About us:
- Our company, Paste & Publish, coaches B2B service businesses on how to get results from online marketing. We help clients to go from 'not knowing when the next client will show up' to 'owning a 24/7 customer-getting machine that works in your sleep'.
- Our core values are sincerity, transparency and custodianship. You can learn more about us here: Upgrade to see actual info/about-us
- Our founder, Callum Armstrong, got into business to help finance and facilitate environmental conservation projects and attract new resources to help biodiversity florish. He also runs a charity called The Reforestation Fund (Upgrade to see actual info), which shares the stories of people helping the environment to raise more awareness and action. Running Paste & Publish is the machine that finances our environmental work.

Requirements:
- Excellent English skills. This is non-negotiable. You need to be fluent to a quality western standard.
- Great written communication skills. As you will mostly be communicating via email and representing our company, it's important that you are able to write well.
- Understanding of marketing. Because you will be reaching out to marketing, small business and entrepreneurship podcasts, you need to understand the basics of marketing to be able to speak their lingo. You don't need to be an expert, but the more experience and knowledge, the better.
- Great time management skills, proactive and able to work independently.

Expectations:
- Once you're settled into the role, you will be contacting 4-8 podcasts each day using the systems and templates provided, with about a 20% booking rate. Training, support and coaching will be provided to help you reach these numbers.
- Honest, transparent and committed to follow through on promises.
- Comfortable asking for help when needed.
- You are proficient with online tools like Google, emails, docs, etc.
- You want to learn and grow in your career.

How to apply:
1. Make sure you've read all of this job application and have a look at our website to see if you're a good fit and you like the idea of joining our team.
2. Send us a message via the OnlineJobs.ph platform and tell us why you think you're a great fit for this role.
3. Make sure to include 'Purple Elephant' in the subject line, and 'Green Rhino' in the message text to ensure that you've read the job advert properly.
4. We will only consider applicants who follow steps 2 and 3, all other applications will be deleted.
5. After applying, we will ask some questions and the top candidates will be invited to do a fully paid test job.
