Podcast Editor

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to join our team. As a Podcast Editor, you will be responsible for editing and post-production tasks to ensure the highest standard of audio quality for our podcast episodes.

Responsibilities:
Edit and polish raw podcast recordings to enhance audio quality, clarity, and consistency.
Perform audio cleanup, including noise reduction, levelling, and removal of unwanted details.
Implement pacing adjustments and incorporate music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the listener experience.
Ensure seamless transitions between segments and episodes, maintaining a cohesive flow throughout.
Schedule and publish completed podcast episodes on relevant channels, such as podcast hosting platforms, streaming services, and social media platforms.
Meet deadlines consistently and efficiently manage workload to deliver completed episodes on schedule.

Requirements:
Proven experience in audio editing and production, with a focus on podcasting preferred.
Proficiency in video editing software
Strong attention to detail and a keen ear for audio quality, with the ability to identify and address technical issues effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Rate and Hours:
Rate: $6 per hour

Expected workload: Approximately 6 hours per episode
