Personal Injury Settlement Negotiations Assistant

Our firm is seeking a Settlement Negotiations Assistant. Our ideal candidate must be able to value bodily injury claims, negotiate with medical providers and communicate with clients. This candidate must have prior personal injury experience in any capacity. Familiarity with Medical Terms and Billing is a plus. Understanding of Medical Records/Billing retrieval procedure is a welcomed skill set.

Job Title: Personal Injury Settlement Negotiations Assistant

Type of Position: Full time

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm PST

Responsibilities:

Understand insurance correspondence.
Maintaining communication with clients and advising them through the negotiation process until settlement
Negotiating the entire case with insurance adjusters to obtain the maximum settlement
Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills.
Summarize case facts and create persuasive arguments.
Negotiate clients entire case with insurance adjusters to obtain highest settlement possible.
Work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:

Attention to detail
Prior experience in Personal Injury.
Ability to meet deadlines and quotas.
Excellent English grammar and writing skills; Spanish speaker is a plus.
Must be organized with the ability to handle several tasks at once.
